Badger Paw American Indian Art

Badger Paw is a family business dealing in traditional and contemporary Native American pottery, baskets, jewelry and other fine Indian handmade articles. Our business is located in the historic, gold-rush era town of Jackson, California, in the Sierra Nevada foothills. We have been promoting the creation of authentic, handmade American Indian art and crafts since 1988.

If you have any questions about any item on our site, or if you're seeking information on American Indian art and crafts, feel free to call, write, or email us. Our numbers and addresses are under the 'Contact' button.

Note for visitors: The photograph shown for an item will usually display a small 'magnifying glass' icon in the lower right corner. Clicking on this icon will show you additional photographs of that item.

Note for purchasers: When ordering, please do not change the "Quantity" button from its set value of "1". There is only one of each item.

2018 marks our 30th year in this business, and many more before as collectors. Now retirement is on the horizon for us. To that end, we have decided to offer goods at wholesale prices, subject to a minimum purchase. Lists of our remaining stock can be seen at the "Wholesale" pages below. [A hopefully temporary note: we're having a bit of trouble getting these pages to load properly. We'll fix ASAP. In the meantime we do have the lists available as Excel spreadsheets.]

You will find that many of these pieces are by some of the most respected artists of earlier eras, with a good mix of contemporary artistry too. Happy shopping!
